US Virgin Islands' First Lady Visits Trans-Atlantic Business Solutions' Cambridge, MA Office

 
C AMBRIDGE, MA, November 25, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The staff of Trans-Atlantic Business Solutions (TABS), the parent company of the Virgin Islands' largest technology, research, marketing and training company BIZVI, welcomed the First Lady of the Virgin Islands, Cecile de Jongh, to its Cambridge, Massachusetts' Marketing office. TABS marketing office is located at the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC), on One Broadway, Cambridge MA.

TABS' marketing and operations teams, in coordination with the CIC's Communication department, provided the First Lady de Jongh with a demonstrative tour of the resource offerings the CIC provides to small and medium sized companies. Head of Sales/Relationship Manager of CIC, Dougan Sherwood, led the tour which brought to light the collection of ideas and thoughts that can be created when collaboration of like-minded individuals is put into effect. "CIC has arguably the largest concentrations of start-ups in the world", said Timothy Rowe, Executive Director of CIC who also briefed the First Lady on the structure and goals of the CIC in the heart of the world's innovation hub.

The President and CEO of TABS, Syed Gilani, welcomed Mrs. de Jongh at TABS's marketing office located in CIC and briefed her about the projects TABS, under the umbrella of its subsidiary BIZVI, has been doing in the Virgin Islands."BIZVI has been actively engaged in improving the lives of the Virgin Islanders by providing the government, non-profit organizations, and private companies with state-of-the art technology solutions that can help improve productivity and efficiency while reducing costs", said Mr. Gilani. First Lady Cecile de Jongh applauded the efforts of BIZVI and discussed the areas of mutual interest focusing on the projects that can help improve the education sector and lives of the islands' future generation.

Being an active campaign initiator, she continues to pursue a passionate mission for projects directed towards the youth of the Virgin Islands success and has identified the reciprocated responsibility with TABS. The First Lady guided the campaign for Text4baby , an educational program of the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition (HMHB). The First Lady has also helped launch Tiny Tokens of Hope to help the homeless, promoting holiday programs for children, and vigorously participates in aiding those with mental disorders. The First Lady's dynamic involvement is a result of her devoted participation in progressing the society and improving prominent issues in the U.S.V.I. The focus given to the youth is partly due to their influence on the future of the Islands as well as the importance they have on building hope from a given opportunity. Chairperson of the Governor's Children and Families Council, an initiative that seeks to guide children to be "healthy and ready to succeed in school", puts the First Lady in a position where her given resources are allocated to their appropriate outlets, resulting in an effective campaign. Representing multiple relating initiatives places the First Lady in the eye of social change, attention that she receives open heartedly.
